1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, registering for, or using the FanzoPay mobile application or website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to both customers (individuals who use FanzoPay to earn cashback) and businesses (merchants who use FanzoPay to run a loyalty programme).
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use FanzoPay.
- You must be located in the United Kingdom.
- Businesses must be legally registered and operating in the UK.
- You may only hold one personal account and one business account.
3. Customer accounts
As a customer, you may:
- Earn cashback credit by scanning QR codes at participating businesses after making a qualifying purchase
- Convert accumulated credit into vouchers to use at the issuing business
- Refer friends using referral codes to earn bonus credit
Cashback credit has no cash value outside the FanzoPay platform. Credit can only be redeemed as a voucher at the specific business at which it was earned. Credit is non-transferable.
4. Vouchers and redemptions
- Vouchers are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
- Expired vouchers cannot be reactivated or refunded.
- Vouchers are single-use and cannot be split or partially applied.
- It is the customer's responsibility to present the voucher QR code at the time of purchase.
- FanzoPay is not responsible if a business refuses to accept a voucher outside the platform.
5. Referral programme
- Referral codes are specific to individual businesses and programmes.
- Referral credit is awarded only when the referred customer makes their first qualifying purchase at the relevant business.
- FanzoPay reserves the right to revoke referral credit where abuse or fraudulent activity is detected.
- Referral programme terms (credit amounts, minimum spend) are set by individual businesses and may change at any time.
6. Business accounts
As a business, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date business information
- Honour valid FanzoPay vouchers presented by customers at the point of sale
- Generate cashback QR codes only for genuine customer purchases
- Not manipulate, inflate or fraudulently generate cashback credits
- Keep your cashback rate and minimum redemption threshold accurate in the app
- Comply with all applicable UK consumer and data protection laws
7. Business subscription and fees
- Businesses are offered a 30-day free trial with full access to all features.
- After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription: £59/month, £299 for 6 months (save £55), or £499 annually (save £209).
- A 1% transaction fee is charged monthly on the total cashback credit issued to customers during that month.
- Fees are billed via Stripe. You authorise FanzoPay to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
- Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- No refunds are provided for partial months.
- FanzoPay reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
8. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- Create false or duplicate accounts
- Generate or claim cashback for purchases that did not take place
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack or disrupt the platform
- Use automated tools, bots or scripts to interact with the Service
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Abuse the referral programme to generate fraudulent credits
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts found in violation of these rules without notice or refund.
9. Intellectual property
All content, trademarks, logos and software within the FanzoPay platform are the property of FanzoPay. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our express written permission.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
FanzoPay is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FanzoPay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of cashback credit due to account suspension for breach of these Terms.
FanzoPay is not responsible for the quality of goods or services provided by participating businesses.
11. Account termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Deleting your account will permanently remove your credit balance, vouchers and transaction history. This action cannot be undone.
FanzoPay may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have breached these Terms or if required by law.
12. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
